My 5 month old loves this toy. The mirror and the softness of the fabric. I say this is her second favorite because her first favorite is Sassy Earth Brights Wooden Dove. If the Dove isn't around, this one keeps her happy. The rattle inside also keeps her attention when she shakes it around.

The Melissa and Doug Princess Castle is one of my favorite toys I bought for my family. I'm sure you've all heard of toxic toys from overseas, junky toys made in sweatshops, and terrible things like that. I even found out this year that 85% or more of all toys in the USA are made overseas!

Melissa and Doug is a national company, and is based in the United States (so far as my research tells me). From owning various toys they've put out, I can tell you that everything they make is top quality.

Let's take, for instance, the Melissa and Doug Folding Princess Castle. Is it made of cardboard? No. It's actually made from real wood. Who would've thunk in this day and age that there are companies that care about making quality toys, not just imported junk. We have various wooden puzzles and other toys from this company, and we have no complaints on any of them.

If you look at the details and care that went into the making of the princess castle, you'll see that it will make a fun toy for any little girl. I think the combination of wanting to be a princess and pretend play, imagining yourself as a princess, plus the fascination girls have with their dolls and their dollhouses, makes this toy appealing to kids on many levels.

We bought ours about 4 months ago, and our kids haven't lost interest in it yet. I think that says a lot about this toy, don't you? Since we bought it, the price has come down substantially, but I'm not upset and I still consider it money well spent.

This action figure is an excellent likeness of actress Marina Sirtis as 'Star Trek: The Next Generation"'s half-human, half-empathic Betazoid counselor, Deanna Troi. Her casual uniform, as depicted on this figure, can be seen through the middle years of "The Next Generation"'s seven-year run (1987-1994). Its accessories are a milkshake (I'm not quite sure why), a tricorder, and a figure stand. All in all, I highly recommend this figure as a welcome addition to any Star Trek collector's treasure trove or to any action figure collector who expects high production quality in return for his/her investment. 5 stars of 5. P.S. As a side note, there is a variant of this figure also available, as Deanna Troi is featured in her casual uniform from the middle years of the program.
