My son (12 mo) absolutely loves these squirt toys. They keep him occupied during his bath so he's not messing around with the drain or the spout. They are made in China, but on the bottom of each squirter is stamped "phthalate free." That's a good thing, too, since he likes to chew on them! The net to hold the toys isn't terribly big, but it holds them all and allows them to dry out between uses.

Any of these behaviors can be accessed just by tilting her head. You can use her hands just like you would use joysticks. When you touch her hands, you'll alter her movements. Her specialty is the ability to do an astounding 20 interactive routines as well as 36 different functions.

WowWee has really outdone themselves this time. With five different motors that allow for twelve degees of free movement, WowWee FemiSapien Humanoid Robot is very sophisticated in her walking movements, as well as other gestures. You can create a dance routine and she will dance her little booty off! Give her six AA batteries and WowWee FemiSapien Humanoid Robot is off to the dances. This robot is just a taste of what will come in future years for toy design. You'll be amazed at how this robot can interact with you and your children. Because of the robotics involved, it is not recommended that Femisapien be played with outside.

Daydream Toy - SquashBlox Construction Cushions Builder Set

All three of my boys loved playing with this on Christmas morning. It even beat out the draw of playing with the empty boxes that their other toys came in. My only gripes on the product is that my 5 year old cannot open the velcro that is used to attach the panels together, and when they are attached, they don't always stay together that well. The kids have not complained, so I gave it 4 stars.
Customer Review: Getting another set!
This was the great hit of the Christmas season for my 3.5 y.o., so i'm back to buy another set. We did get the castle and train accessories, which were useful to get the fun going. The pillows have been since configured to be a school, towers, a theater (move-over table-top theater that was also a gift), and various doll (and little people) houses. That's in a week alone! They are also useful for my 5 month old, who will start using them more as he grows. Any felt remnant will do an adequate job of sticking, and JoAnne, Michaels, etc sell adhesive velcro, so you can create your own accessories. Some advice -- 8 pillows is simply not enough. I'm getting another set. Also, they tend to pick up lint, dust bunnies and pet hair -- find a clean spot to set them up, and cover them so that the resident cat or dog does not curl up on them. We'll see how they fare, for now, toddler, baby and grown ups have all taken turns playing.

There are many reasons to involve your children in gardening. Examples include:

Outdoor activity: In this day and age it's tough to get your kids outdoors and in the fresh air. When they get involved in helping you in the garden they are naturally in the healthy setting of the great outdoors, and can begin to appreciate the beauty of creation.

Learning about nature: Children learn best through experience, and there are few things more fascinating than the simple act of planting seeds in the garden only to see them sprout a few days or weeks later. Pesticides: If you do a vegetable garden with the kids, avoid chemical pesticides, since kids will be tempted to pick and eat, and don't care to read the label. Even some organic controls should be used with care when kids are around the garden.

Sometimes they can enjoy helping you outside in some activity like mowing the lawn or raking the leaves in the yard. You can still find the traditional bubble mowers we remember from our childhood, and in addition there are newer types of toy mowers that make all sorts of different noises and effects for your children to enjoy. There are also toy rakes that can actually rake leaves, or one of the small rakes used to rake around bushes can be a good substitute for little hands.
